I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I attended St. Ignatius College Prep (or “SI” for the SF natives out there) and St. Mary’s College. For the last 15 years, I have been helping B2B startups and mid-sized Pre-IPO companies in the SF Bay Area and Seattle build out their Marketing teams…from the CMO down to the Director. I love working with small companies because every hire is crucial to the company’s success. I work closely with the CEO and the CMO to make sure I get them exactly what they are looking for. I received a call a few years ago from a candidate that I placed in a new role that was close to her home and exactly what she was looking for. She was so excited when she called and said to me, “Michael, you make dreams come true.” One of the other big rewards of my career as a recruiter is when I meet a director-level marketer and then work with them when they become a VP, and then the CEO.
